About Us

February 2026

Our Antigua Elite Gymnastics Academy athletes proudly represented Antigua Elite Gymnastics at the Magical Classic (Feb 13–15) and Presidential Classic (Feb 16) in Orlando, showing resilience, growth, and true team spirit across all levels.

At the Magical Classic, our Level 2 athletes led the charge with a standout performance from Alexis, who earned an impressive 1st place on Bars (9.35), 2nd on Vault (9.625) and a strong 5th All-Around (37.275) finish. Alexis demonstrated confidence and consistency across all four events, setting a fantastic tone for the team. Orah delivered a solid all-around competition with strong vault and beam routines, while Anastasia showed determination and composure in her routines, gaining valuable international competition experience.

In Level 3, the team of Tali, Amelie, and Olivia competed with heart and perseverance. Amelie had a particularly strong floor performance (9.0), while Olivia impressed on vault (9.3) and bars (8.725). Tali showed steady work across events, continuing to build competitive confidence at this level.

Our Level 4 athletes, Valerie and Elodie, rose to the challenge in a competitive field. Both athletes showed great focus and improvement throughout the meet, gaining essential experience on all apparatus as they continue to progress in their competitive journeys.

The team returned to competition on February 16 for the Presidential Classic, where we saw excellent growth and improved performances. Orah had a standout meet with a 2nd place Vault score of 9.775 and a strong 4th place Beam (9.375), showing significant improvement from earlier in the weekend. In Level 3, Amelie achieved a well-balanced all-around performance (34.2), while Tali and Olivia both showed resilience and consistency across all events.

At Level 4, Valerie and Elodie once again demonstrated determination and composure, with notable beam routines and continued progress against strong international competition.

Overall, this competition was a major milestone for AEGA as we continue preparing athletes for higher-level competition, including upcoming events later this season. We are incredibly proud of how our athletes represented the academy — not only through their scores, but through their sportsmanship, teamwork, and dedication.

2025

Antigua Elite Gymnastics made a remarkable impression at Orlando’s prestigious Magical Classic competition. The team competed confidently among 3,000 participants from multiple countries, with their Level 2 squad securing an impressive sixth-place trophy in a field of 21 teams.

Level 2 gymnasts Tali, Orah, Denae, Amelie, and Olivia delivered outstanding performances across vault, bars, beam, and floor exercises, contributing significantly to the team’s achievement.

Competing in the more advanced Level 3 category, Elodie, Valerie, and Dannika faced formidable opposition with routines showcasing technical precision, physical strength, and artistic expression, earning recognition from judges and spectators alike.

The team’s collective efforts yielded an outstanding 15-medal haul, demonstrating their competitive excellence.

The team now turns its focus toward their annual showcase at their Crabbs facility, where all 200 club members will demonstrate their skills in what promises to be a captivating display of gymnastics prowess.

Antigua Elite Gymnastics continues its mission to elevate the sport locally and regionally, inspiring young athletes and proving that determination opens doors to achievement.

2020

2020 as everyone knows was a crazy year with Covid 19 shutting down almost everything. During this time the club had to sadly see Sandra return back to Canada. But brought in Alex and Jess, 2 National Coaches from Canada to the club. Alex and Jess's goal was to continue to develop the club and in doing so, opened the club to our current Recreational programs and continue growth of the competitive teams. At the end of our first term of Recreational we had 80 athletes and 20 of which are boys. On top of that a growing Competitive team of 23 girls ranging from 4yrs-18yrs, with levels ranging from pre-competitive to USA level 9.
