Antigua Elite Gymnastics Academy competed at the Trident Classic in Barbados. This was the 10th annual competition in Barbados hosting athletes from gymnastics clubs from Barbados, Jamaica, Trinidad and Antigua.
Antigua Elite Gymnastics Academy sent 11 athletes ranging from the ages of 7 to 15 in levels 2, 3 and 6 and their coaches Alex and Jess Schlosser. For many of the athletes this was their first competition and for some that competed last year, the challenge of leveling up.
Our level 2 athletes as a team brought home the “Level 2 Team First Place” award and banner that will be displayed in our gym. Together Antigua Elite Gymnastics Academy brought home 19 medals and 3 all around trophies.

This investment will provide our athletes with enhanced training opportunities and push them to new heights in their gymnastics journey. We are dedicated to creating a top-notch training environment for our gymnasts and are thrilled to see them soar to new levels of success with this new equipment at their disposal.
In 2023, our recreational program has soared to welcome nearly 200 enthusiastic athletes, supported by a dedicated competitive team of 11 skilled individuals. This success not only showcases our athletes' talents but also reflects the commitment and spirit of our growing program. Cheers to the victories of yesterday and the boundless potential of tomorrow!
We are thrilled to announce the successful hosting of our first Antigua Classic Showcase, featuring the incredible talent of our kindergym (ages 3-5), recreational and advanced recreational (ages 6+), and competitive women's teams. The event was met with an amazing turnout of supporters who cheered on our young athletes as they displayed their hard work and dedication to the sport of gymnastics. We are excited for the future as we continue to host showcases to showcase the exceptional skills and determination of our gymnasts.
2020 as everyone knows was a crazy year with Covid 19 shutting down almost everything. During this time the club had to sadly see Sandra return back to Canada. But brought in Alex and Jess, 2 National Coaches from Canada to the club. Alex and Jess's goal was to continue to develop the club and in doing so, opened the club to our current Recreational programs and continue growth of the competitive teams. At the end of our first term of Recreational we had 80 athletes and 20 of which are boys. On top of that a growing Competitive team of 23 girls ranging from 4yrs-18yrs, with levels ranging from pre-competitive to USA level 9.
